Hi Anna

You should be safe in June with beach attire on deck!! You might need a coverup at night though, once the sun goes down it can get nippy depending on where you are in the Med. If it's a posh cruise (who are you sailing with?) you'll need something nice for the Captains Dinner and Gala Dinner I suspect. But most ships now are fairly relaxed and cruise casual is pretty much accepted everywhere. The temperatures should be warm, so don't bother bringing a jumper!! Enjoy your cruise

You didn't say when you are going but when we went in September a couple years ago the weather was very pleasant. September is considered an ideal month to go because the temps have cooled down a bit.

If you are going on a 12 to 14 day cruise you will have two formal nights. That means they REQUEST that you dress formally those two nights. Most of the people will dress in everything from a tux for men to long dresses (any color) for women. SOme will simply wear a suit and tie or a dress or skirt and blouse for women. We generally change clothes back to sports casual after dinner on formal nights, most people do. The dress on ship is always casual, shorts, "T" shirts, sandals, until 6:00 PM when they request that you dress "Sports Casual" in all public places like the main dining hall, restaurants, the casino, show rooms, the disco, bars, etc. Sports casual is what you would expect to see a person wear in a business office... shirt with a collar, slacks, dress, skirt, etc. No shorts, swim wear, or tank tops in public areas after 6:00 PM.

Take swim wear as there will be a pool, indoor and outside depending on your ship, and hot tubs. If you are going to Rome and plan to tour the Vatican you cannot wear "T" shirts and tank tops in St Peters or the Cistine Chapel, and you need closed in shoes, not flip flops. I fyou plan to take walking tours like Pompei, Florence, or even in Monte Carlo, you need good walking shoes.

The weather on ship was pleasant most of the time, except a few showers. I always take a warmup suit in case it gets cool at night and I want to be on my balcony or on the top deck. I suggest taking a light jacket like a wind breaker.

The ship will probably have a gym so take clothes for that if you want to workout or just walk the track.

I do recommend the tours to the colleseum, St Peters Bacilica in Rome, Pompei, Piza, in Italy and Ephesus in Turkey. If you do the tour to Monte Carlo, don't pay to go in the casino; they charge $10 a person and its not worth it. Do tours on your won in Santorini and Mykonos, no need to pay as you can see much on your own.

Enjoy.

I suppose you are going summertime. Just dress as you would at a hotel really. Casual in the day, nice things for the evening. It;s very hot here in the Med in the summer. People aren;t really into fasion too much in the heat. Cool loose clothing. Plenty of sunscreen.
