I believe that true love is unconditional.

1) I'm not sure what that means.
2) I would wonder if they really meant it.
3) I would feel honored and appreciated.
4) Some people mistake love for sex or companionship.
5) I give love and I am loved; like hatred, it's part of everyday life.
6) Everyone interprets things differently.
7) Throughout my entire life I have felt the love my grandparents have for me, and sometimes the love of my parents.
8) At this point, I don't, but I am trying to learn how.
9) N/A
10) I think of the heart.
11) I believe it's expressed more inwardly. Some people don't always reveal their feelings, even to the ones they love, no matter how much they love them.
12) Love can mean joy, but it can also mean sacrifices, commitments, choices, etc. I don't think it has a "look." I can't tell whether or not people are in love. However, if I see a couple kissing, holding hands, or laughing together in public, I would think, "How sweet."

Thumbs down to the typical male responses, I'm forever unsuccessfully attempting to correct hubby on his hormone inspired definition. The gift of true love is powerful and joyous and to be shared with everyone. I like to express my love for everyone, but sometimes telling someone you love them can make them uncomfortable because they do not experience love in the same way. I respect that, love should never cause discomfort.
