I have a phobia of cheating on my girlfriend, I like her lots, I don't plan to cheat on her but I'll be sitting in class and feel like im doing something to cheat on her when i'm not even speaking to anyone. or another an example is I'll not open the door the for someone ON purpose & then look back and still feel bad! like I did something against my girlfriend, I don't understand why I feel this way, I like my girlfriend and really don't want to break up with her over something silly like this, I feel stressed about doing something when I didn't do anything to cheat on her, This really is the first relationship that this has happend with, she isn't controlling or anything so dont think it hers, My thinking has been out of whack, any advice? thanks

You're being paranoid and over thinking this. Let me be clear: Cheating is when you're trying to go on a date with another girl. If your DOING this then you ARE cheating. If you ARE NOT then don't worry about it.

sounds to me like you have a very guilty conscious, not that you have done anything wrong but feel like you could. And if everything is going so perfect your waiting for everything to fall apart because you just somehow know that it will. Your just growing up, don't worry so much life is already hard enough the more you worry the harder you make it. you'll be o.k.k and everything will be o.k.

it sounds like your head over heels. There's no need to say yuck, just try not to obsess over it, try to think about something else, but always keep the "not cheating" mind set, that's a good thing and maybe you should talk to the girl about it and see what she thinks. Good luck and God bless.

It sounds like you just really like her alot and are scared of doing something to mess things up. Have you cheated in past relationships? ........ If you aren't doing anything wrong then don't sweat it. You cant waste your life worrying about things that havent happened. If in the future something comes up and she accuses you of something........cross that road when you get to it. Loosen up!

Wow! Umm, hun, let's say this. You are getting way too cautious. If you keep living this way, you're going to shut everyone but her out of your life. Take my advice, don't freak so much. Go ahead and talk to other girls, as long as you don't put your hand on their arm or get flirty. It sounds like you do REALLY like this girl, though.

I think your girlfriend is giving you a vibe that she is insecure and doesn't totally trust you. What is the source of that vibe? She might be cheating on you.

maybe talk to your gf about it. if she straight out tells you that what you are doing isnt wrong, then you might be able to relax a bit.
also, try telling yourself to relax and not freak out when you know you arent doing anything wrong. it wont work at first, but give it a week. you can convince yourself of anything.
