I have no problem telling guys about my weight. i hav nothign to be embarresd about im 5'8 13 and i weigh 115.. and very athletic... now, someone asked me how much i weighd in class out loud in front of everyone, then itold them and the guy said, most girls/woman, are embarrses to tell thre weight....
why is htat?

Many are sensative. they hate to be known as the big, fat over weight girl, or the skinny anerexic type. Some just think there weight is personal and only people they like should know. Sometimes us boyz also check out those numbers lol

Foolish misconceptions is why. Weight is only loosely related to how good you look. Guess what, muscle weighs more than fat. Height adds a LOT of weight. There are some damn good looking women that weigh more than 120 petite lbs. If you are 5'10'' you're going to weigh a lot more than a girl who's 5' plain and simple.

I'll probably be hated for this one, but it's just my opinion-or really just a conjecture, okay?
Some women are "violently" sensitive when it comes to the weight issue (I know-I've been physically attacked for even bringing up the subject). I believe it may be a defense mechanism to avoid social pressure from their significant others to actually put any serious effort into physical fitness for the sake of (among other things) physical attractiveness and good health.
Take it easy, it's just my theory! lol

It sounds like you're doing a little bragging here. Be more concerned with your spelling and language usage (unless you are from a non-Englsh speaking country) before worrying about why girls don't like to tell there weight.

I think that girls dont tell their weight because after they tell, people might say that they weigh a lot and make them feel bad

we're sensitive about our weight...and what others will think once they know our weight. we think they might think we are fat and tease us...or too thin and tease us...etc, etc... but I have no problem now that I am at a good weight for my age/height (I am 14, 5 foot 4 1/2 inches, and 112 pounds).

cuz some girls have difernt body types and it makes them seem fatter. like a girl i knwe looked like 140 lbs but she was like 185 cuz she had dense bones . so if someone passed around that she was 185 then people who didnt know how hot sh e was wud think she wa s a pigg so she never told no body but me

vanity, embarrassed, maybe everyone is not as trim and fit as u are and they just don't want people to make fun of them.
