I fell in love with a guy, many years ago.It was the same for both of us, for the first time in our thirties. With bad timing we never ended up together. He was with someone, and took too long to make a decision, by which time, I was involved elsewhere.Although living in hundreds of miles apart now we still meet up every so often. We normally don't communicate much inside this period. But now that i have met someone else he has started to send me more intense love letters. But when I suggest meeting him, all has gone silent. What is his game?

...it's your game too hun. You continue to respond to him which leads him to believe you're still heavily interested in him. Are you? It's nice having platonic male friends I'm certain,....but understand most men think a little bit with their hearts,...and a whole lot with our penis's. I'm not trying to be crude or nothing sweety...but he's had great sex with you at one time or many...and he misses it with you babe...what else really? Why continue to bother each other into submission? Stop kidding both of yourselves and do the adult thing here darling...end it! You'll be doing both of you two a favor...seriously!

I would let it go. I was away working for years and came back to a hometown to retire. I never married and the first thing I know all my ex "friends" are at my door wanting to get intimate again. The bad thing is is that they are all married. I just shut the door and go see the younger crowd and have fun.
My point being is IF you are happy why change your life for someone who flied in and out of your life?
