About 3 days ago, my tonsils started to hurt. Yesterday my throat became scratchy and today I completely lost my voice! Im not sick except my throat is a little scratchy and itchy. What do I have? I cannot speak at all!
How can I cure this? with medicine? time? with what?
Is it necesary for me to see a doctor?

It can really be a number of things. If it doesn't go away withing a couple of days, you really do need to see a Dr. Even if it is something easy to handle, if you wait to long it can turn into something serious.

You need to have a test run at the Dr. It is possible for your throat to be infected from sinus drainage...just get it checked out and while you wait, warm tea with lemon will help soothe it.

you might be brewing a strep throat or a yeast infection..you should see a dr and get some appropriate meds.In the mean time you could gargle with some tepid water with a little salt mixed in..it might ease the discomfort

I DONT KNO... I HAD THAT SAME PROBLEM A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AND IT TOOK A COUPLE OF DAYS FOR IT TO GO AWAY... BUT YOU SHOULD GO SEE A DOCTOR THOUGH JUST IN CASE ITS SOMETHING SERIOUS

that would be called laryngitis . and yes go to Dr you need antibiotics to cure it good luck
