hubby has been on the ship since tuesday. He has his first inspection next week in his dress whites and got some new "patches" to attach with the name of the ship on em. He was talking to a fellow shipmate in his division and telling him he had no clue where to get the uniform taken care of/ pressed etc...well just then his 1st class superior officer came in and offered to take it for him into where he takes it and said "you are part of the club now i will take it in for you" and so hubby let him handle it. AFter he had 2nd thoughts about this. He is wondering if this was a safe idea or not because he was told not to do "business" with his fellow sailors. Is his superior going to "teach him a lesson"? or do you think he is being sincere and helping him out.

Sounds random, though if he wants to do a good performance he knows already what is the action to do. All
previous information shows that for each candidate for every
job the office needs the team to be ahead of the enemy. No
detail I ever heard had fashion required.

Well worst case (and I'm sorry to say this) He gonna catch it badly, but this just means less down time for your hubby and more detail work and extra duty (he wont like it, but he'll live)

Best case all goes well and he will pass the uniform inspection and if he does well enough he will get an "at-a-boy" that's a good thing

I spent some time as an Army solider on a U.S. Navy Ship, and yes i got my fair share of interestingly painful razzing and harassment but all said it made me a better solider with a larger understanding oh how the military works

I'm assuming you mean his Petty Officer First Class, who byt the way is not an officer, though he would be considered a superior....

And sorry but more than likely they aren't just going to take care of his uniform for him.

In the Navy I believe all clothing garments have names on them, and should bad happen to his clothes he will have 3 months at sea to get back at someone, and payback is a ---ch, I think the clothes will be ok.
He needs to be skeptical when they tell him to get the F-18 jet keys.
