It would depend on their metabolism. People who have fast metabolisms can eat more in a period of time without noticing weight gain because their bodies digest it faster. People with slower metabolisms have to learn to pace themselves when it comes to eating.

At age 16, your metabolism is very high and efficient. Normally your body adjusts to the caloric intake you have been accustomed to. However, there could be other medical issues that can cause the person who eats a lot of food not to gain weight and to lack energy at the same time. One of these conditions is type 2 diabetes in which the insulin which helps the body convert sugars in to celllular energy becomes resistant and does not do what it is supposed to do, so that the body is struggling to get nutrients, the person is hungry and eating everything in sight but still losing weight, tired and lethargic. Another medical condition is hyperthyroidism in which the body metabolism is speeded up to a dangerous level. This is also commonly characterized by a resting pulse over 100 beats per minute, profuse sweating, sometimes, protruding eyeballs and inability to gain any weight. Please consult with your family doctor at yor earliest convenience to rule out any of those abnormal health conditions.

I don't belive thisis the case. I'm six feet tall and thru my youth when your metabolizm is supposed to at its peak, I battled with my weight. after two kids I thought i'd always have a few extra pound. But I watch what I eat and stay around 140 to 145 and for my height that keeps me in a size 5/6 so i can deal with that!

Tall people may look skinny but some are not at all skinny, height can hide weight but nonetheless the weight is still there.

Excess weight can hide in various forms depending on the person's anatomy. for instance a tall person may look skinny in certain clothes but they may have "love handles", flabby underarms, if female (big thighs), if male (loose skin around the waist)

Hope this answers your question

NO. Height has nothing to do with burning calories. You can be 7 feet tall and still be fat.
