Just depends on how much money you plan on spending... My nephew is 7 and he LOVES MONEY.. So what we usually do for him is make crumble up dollar bills and put them in a bag or box.. After they straighten all the money out it always looks like they have alot more then you gave them.. My brother even put money inside of balloons and they had to pop the balloons and get their money out.. MOST KIDS LOVE MONEY..

Webkinz are *really* hot right now. You buy a cute stuffed animal and it comes with a code for their online site. They can go there to play games, build an online home for their pet, etc. My 6 & 8 yo love it! A lot of places like card shops sell the Webkinz.

Polly Pockets

Maybe some outside toys for this time of year? A scooter or soccer ball or something?

Pixel Chix and/or Cube World.

ETA:
DO NOT buy a "Bratz" anything without talking to her parents first. A LOT of parents don't allow those trashy things in their house.

My 8 year old loves Webkinz. It's a stuffed animal that comes with a code. When you go onto the website, enter in this code and your child has to look after it. It's a fun game for them and they can communicate with other webkinz. They are pretty inexpensive, around $13.

not girlie? that's ok! i wasnt either! try taking her and her friends (with their parents permission of course!) to the park for a fun day.

bring cup cakes (which are great for kids on the go b/c they dont require plates or forks!) and bottles of water. also bring things for games like frisby and blind-fold tag!

these arent girlie things, and she'll remember it for the rest of her life- unlike any toy that will probably be forgotten in a few months.

and if you can get other moms and dads to come along, it'll be totally easy to watch everyone.

if shes not that much of a girly girl then try a electronic device, maybe a voice activated password journal or clothes! or a gift card and let her pick

20 Questions is an awesome and addicting game. It can be handheld or tabletop version. I prefer the handheld. She can take it with her and it lights up.

My daughter isn't really girly girl either, but she loves Pixel Chicks. They are little houses with digital people that they can control. They can shop ect. and you can connect more that one and also connect to friends' pixel chicks.

She seems to really like it.
