The doctor says it's irritable bowel, but none of the Gas-X or IBS meds seem to to help the gas. It gets so trapped and I need to lie down on floor to relieve it. It's been going on for over 15 yrs. None of the tests showed anything. Any suggestions? Please, only serious answers. This is such a debilitating condition. Thanks!

I suggest all natural Optiflora. The two-product system includes Probiotic (Bifidus & Acidophilus...microflora) + Prebiotic (FOS...food source for microflora). Patented guaranteed delivery of 500 million live microflora to intestines.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions.

Have you heard of essential sugars? Or, have you tried digestive enzymes--available at health food stores, etc.
I know someone with same condition, and I know how consuming the problem is--she refuses to eat all day, rather than go through problems, till she gets home from work. I suggested she try eating yogourt regularily--one with active ingredients. If you don't like it, take capsules instead. I have found the essential sugars wonderful for intestinal isssues,
and it sorts out everything. Much better than masking problem. I strongly recommend you also see a reputable allergist (doctor) or, that, & go to a naturopath, as well. With
one you will find the foods that are giving you grief, and the other will give you strategies something like what I mentioned earlier. Did you know there are 8 essential sugars? And, breast milk has 6 of them, which is perfect for babies. A co. that makes vitamins using the sugars is Mannatech, and the sugars are called: Advanced Ambrotose. Sources: Aloe vera plant > inner leaf, sea algae, etc. Hope this helps, it should!

You have probably tried this, but have you eliminated gas producting foods? Also, it could be that you are allergic to something. Have you tried an elimination diet to determine what, if any, food you might be allergic to? It's something to consider.
