You should keep records of what you received and any associated expenses, and have the tax guy file that info on a schedule C. That way at least you're clean with the IRS.

Vern, Vern, Vern...

You can't do much except pay taxes, you may die later, but pay your taxes first as this is permissive.

Your ina tight spot, if you fail to pay taxes you can actually be arrested for income tax evasion under IRS code and further do time in a Federal pen. This is actually a serious matter as the IRS really has no sense of humor like us folk. The chances of your going to prison are fairly slim, yet, the option is open if your convicted; to escape such nonsense; ask your attorney (get one) and they can tell you how to approach this with the IRS.
Remember, Eventually, your going to get caught.

Find a job that pays legitimately.

What are you paying taxes on if you've had unreported income? I have more questions here than answers here. Working under the table is illegal for both you and the employer. If you report it wont you both get in trouble? Isn't the reason for working under the table to escape the tax man?
