It would honestly depend on what religion those friends would follow. If they would be Satanists it wouldn't offend them at all and you may even get a little. Or a lot depending on who you find.
However if you are refering to the Christian, or Islamic type of religions then yes it probably would. After all those religions have major hang ups when it comes to anything even approaching sex. Can almost make one wonder how those people think they got here. Did a stork bring them? Or did they God snap his fingers and poof here they are.
After all that is how they believe Adam and Eve got here.
