I understand that you are very busy people and a lot of you will be on call when not working,

Kind of, now I am getting old and aware of my own mortality!

Past 10 years- do the fruit thing > 5 pieces/ day
Long time ex-smoker
8 years of gym 60-90 mins 5 days/week
Never taken an illegal drug
Alcohol 5 units/ week
Sorry can't get the weight right!

PS comment about CCN answer, less than 6% of Western doctors smoke. ( Study Princeton University 2003/4).

even when I did engineering work and traveled the world extensively lived the life, physical fitness has always been a priority in my life. now at almost 40 I still have a six pack at 240 lbs, I'm still benching well over 500 raw and squatting over 700. training is slightly harder as finding a training partner once you get older is very hard but eating healthy for me is second nature.

being physically fit is a lifestyle

I can tellyou that my husband is a nurse & he smokes & eats a lot of junk food. On some things, like working out & taking vitamins, he is good, but they are just like us. They do what they want. He actually didn't start smoking until he worked at the hospital & everyone else was smoking

I'm not a health professional myself but a few years back my family doctor died of liver failure because he was an alcoholic! He definately didn't listen to his own advise!
