Ive been going to the gym for a little over a month and have lost 10 lbs. I am unsure how the metabolism even works, but How do I know if mine has changed for the good?

Metabolism is the rate the body burns fat. You can tell the difference if you continue to eat the same thing without exercising. If it's faster you will not gain as much weight as you used to.
