To have that type of society you need to eliminate the things that cause crime and that has nothing to do with morals.

People become criminals due to their circumstances in life (for the most part).

If we eliminate poverty and give everyone a level playing field when it comes to living conditions, schooling, jobs, etc, the world will become a better place.

As for war, you need to change the attitude of government and THAT is a whole other long, sordid story

Our morals will only develop to a certain point, and then our religious differences will still get in the way. I believe in God, but I also believe that organized religions are the biggest cause of conflict among humans. When we all grow up and realize that we should be kind, compassionate, and fair to each other because it is the right thing to do, and not because we might go to hell if we don't, then, and only then, will we clear a major hurdle. We will be acting out of a sense of righteousness and fairness to our neighbors, and not out of some selfish chance of eternal self preservation (getting to heaven). Organized religion, no matter which one it is, is only one more way where a few control the many by promising rewards they can not deliver. But with each religion claiming to be the true one, conflict among even the worlds most religious people can never cease. I know this because God told me. He speaks to me every day. He is my conscience and he teaches me common sense. No pope, no priest, no mullah or ayatollah, no rabbi, nobody will ever convince me different. Some of the most immoral and greatest criminals in the world are the rich churches and tele-evangelists. Those guys are wealthy beyond the average man. If they truly were Christians, they would give away their wealth beyond their absolute necessities, and they would lead by example. We would be more likely to follow them then, but we know that they are charlatans, cruelly taking advantage of the average person's fear of death and oblivion. The religious right in this country (and in every other culture) should stop trying to legislate morality by influencing the outcome of elections. God does not want people to do things his way because a handful of influential religious heavyweights backed a certain presidential candidate or supreme court nominee and won. That is not free will. God wants us to be good by our own choosing. You can not force someone to do the right thing. It won't count. God wants us to exercise free will. Only then are we worthy of him when we choose the right thing. People must want to do the right thing on their own, and if they don't, if you truly believe in God, then you believe God will deal with them in his own way and in his own time. Religious fanatics are the most powerful generators of evil in the world. That includes the Muslim terrorists and the extreme Christian right wingers. They are no different in my book, and we all would be better off without any of them. Separate God from religion and choose God over religion, then you will have morality evolved.

NO, AND I am not going to be biblical. No matter what ancient works that you read, you will see there has always been war and crime, no matter what their beliefs.

Look at Iraq, Bush said there would be dancing on the streets and instead , we have tribes against tribes. The same goes for Africa such as the darfur region. Also, tribes against tribes can also be seen as religions against religions.

the only wars we really fight now are religiously motivated (especially if you consider dogmatic marxist communism a religion).
if technology advances to the point where we don't have to compete for resources, and dogmatic religion goes away, then war will end.
crime in general is tougher, but someday maybe. listen to imagine by john lennon. but don't think that we can do it now, project into the future.

No it doesn't look like society is going to do a reverse esp with porn so available to all. Also the radicals are presently infiltrating the US with their take-over plan. In Bush speech to Veterans he said 'Let's fight them overthere so we don't have to do it here. Doesn't he know what his FBI know-that there are 1200 terrorist groups in 150 cities w/weapons? Homeland Security is beginning to mean finding tedious routines at certain checkpoints while the borders are not secured by US govt.

Do a comparison between the morals of today and thirty years ago. You will find that our morals are deteriorating at a rapid pace. This is contrary to any evolution thinking!!

Maybe. That would be nice. I think it's more of a cultural development though. When people have no reason to kill other people, war will end.

Won't there always be war in this age?

Doesn't the bible refer to wars and rumors of wars as signs of the end of this age?
