it seems that i have 12 - m14 programs starting when i turn this machne on kodak easy share yahoo juke box etc how can i make them only start when i want them not be in the tray? thanks .. mike

I use the program "Chameleon Startup Manager" for it.
You can find it here:

It disables any startup programs and fully controls startup by selecting the programs to be launched, while customizing the startup settings (ie how often and when programs should be launched, etc).

Under the start button select "run". Run msconfig. There is a tab that lets you select the programs that start up on reboot.

Start-> Run -> MSCONFIG

Change startup options in corresponding tab.

you can either do msconfig or uninstall unsed programs in the tsr's
