I am 12 and a half and i have braces. should i get my lip pierced? will it do something to the braces?

im 12 i wouldn't get my lip pierced till im 13 or 14. but i have braces would the pierceing do anything to my braces? i really don't care if u like the look of a lip pierced. all i wanna no is if it would do anything to the braces

I am not going to lie to you, i personally find lip piercings are great i have two myself and neither effected my braces. However getting your lip pierced at this age is against the law and piercers who are prepared to break the law will not being doing a good job. Wait until you are 16 or 18 in your country and go to a professional piercer who will only pierce over the age limit and get it done properly. It will be worth a lot more if you wait for it and will probably look 100 times better. Good Luck with whatever you decide

It might or might not harm the braces but...give me a break. You're barely a teenager! Don't get lip piercings...they are trashy and totally violating to your body. You are much too young to decide if you want it or not. Wait til you are 17 or 18.

why do you want to pierce your lip at 12? It looks so nasty! You are probably a pretty girl, and you are only12. wait until you are over 23 to make that call.
Don't you have some Barbie's to play with?

because you are so young the only thing you can get pierced is your ears without your parents conscent so you should ask your parents how they feel about but it i would say because of your braces no i dont think it would be comfortable
