Yes you can, chicken, rice are good ones. you can also make homemade dog biscuits and cakes that are healthy for them, These are usually made with liver. Just google recipes for dogs and you will be amazed what you can make.

Yes, you can cook meat for your dog. Although, suprisingly, the best diet for dogs is a raw meat diet (i.e. raw beef, turkey, fish, chicken), although not all dogs like it. But yes, be sure to get all the bones out since small pieces could get into their system. There is little need to worry about bacteria such as salmonella as you would with humans, since it does not effect them the same way. You can also try Iams gravy which you mix in with dry food.

When my one dog was very ill I had to cook rice and boil ground meat to bring her back to health. Your dog may have allergies and that's why it won't eat, my other view is where is your animal being feed? The place may not be a good spot. Animals like eat when your eating and near you. Don't be afraid to talk with your vet and find some sort of conclusion, your animal needs to eat to stay in good health and enjoy it's life with you. Please, talk with your vet soon, I encourage this.

People cook for their dogs all the time. It is perfectly normal and can even be healthier for your pet (sometimes expensive). If this is what you choose to do you can search for recipes online or a book of dog recipes. You might even want to consult with your vet to see if they have any ideas.

Sure you can & it is proven that your dog can be heathier because it won't have the additives that proccessed dog food has.You must make sure that it is a balanced diet though or your dog could develop health problems. Whenever I cook for myself, I make just a little extra for my Yorkie. Vet says she's healthy.

Well,of course you can cook for little Pooky. Look, if the dog's hungry enough he'll eat whatever. Let the spoiled little pooch starve if he turns his nose up. I wouldn't go out of the way for my son, whom I love, then a spoiled canine. I don't run a doggy restaurant. Oh, and when your doggie takes a crap do you want to wipe his you know what too?

My vet told me the best thing to do is start off with hamburger and rice (cold or warm).... then start mixing in regular dog food. you dont have to stop using the hamburger and rice... it is good for them. also u can experiment with foods in your fridge as long as it doesnt contain to much sugar. Another thing I tried was PLAIN yogurt or plain yogurt with real fruit bits in it.... its great for a treat or as a breakfast for the dog.

Yes-but you do need to add bone meal to keep it a well balanced diet. You will also need to add supplements if you are going to cook. You can feed raw/barf diet too.
