I have never been diagnosed with ADD but I have taken Adderol and have noticed it really helps my focus and concentration at work and school. I want to speak to my doctor and ask him if he would prescribe me them. Will this be a problem?

I'm guessing you got the Adderol from someone and it wasn't prescribed to you? If it's a good, ethical doctor, than no, they won't perscribe you with Adderol just because you ask. It's highly addictive and has been abused by younger people as if it were speed. If you are 12 and younger you could be diagnosed with ADD but if you are older than that, they will claim it is stress, etc and probably give you an anti-anxiety medicine rather that anything as strong as Adderol.

You shouldn't address the issue that way. First, it is a crime to take someone else's Rx and Adderol is a controlled substance which is a more serious crime. Why don't you just go in and say that you are having trouble concentrating and are wondering if you might have ADD?
