There should be a patch available on their website that you can download to correct this.

If you have windows XP and 2000 Pro, here's the patch:

Most versions of Vista already have this built-in.

Windows ME, 98 and earlier are out of luck. In 4 weeks, or at the prior time for daylight saving time, their computers will catch up, and will go off daylight saving time in the fall early.

Make sure you're receiving the Automatic Updats from Microsoft online. If so, you should have received their patch.

Check in your Add/Remove Programs (show Updates is checked) if the Patch has been installed for you. It is called Update for Windows XP (KB931836).

Updates aside, you can turn off the automatic Daylight Savings Time feature and change it yourself. (Which is what people using the older OSes, or computers without net access, will probably end up doing.)

As long as you're running Windows XP, Service Pack 2, and have Automatic Updates turned on, you're all set.

They already have. The patch for XP is KB928388. Look this up at www.microsoft.com.
