Did you like it? Apparently they're called Dinner/Dance cruises, but I see they're only three hours long, do you actually get a chance to dance? What is the crowed and the music like?

I was on one a long time ago, the food was pretty good and we drank a bunch so didn't have too much time for dancing. I think the crowd was a little older and the music was kinda iffy.

My hubby & I did a Hornblower dinner cruise a few years ago. The food was pretty good (you can definitely get better on dry land in San Diego) and you had plenty of time to eat and dance. The music is done by a D.J. and you can make requests. They will announce b-days and anniversaries.
Or, you could go out on the deck and watch the sunset.
I would consider doing it again. But I would bring a warmer jacket, it can get pretty chilly in the evening!

there is an outlet mall in Carlsbad...it truly is about 1/2-hour north of San Diego. it truly is continuously nonetheless marvelous climate in October. searching on what she likes to do....listed below are some options: have a sea coast bonfire, kayak through the caves in LaJolla, lease motorcycles in Coronado and journey alongside the coast, eat at Corvette Diner contained in the Hillcrest section, take a bay cruise. There are also various museums to hit upon in Balboa Park and the Wild Animal Park in Escondido.

My wife and I went on one last summer. It was one of the hornblower dinner cruises. the food was very good I thought the drinks were a little pricy, but good. We did not do any dancing instead we took in the view of the downtown skyline.
I would definitely do it again.

Yes I have. Save your money..It wasnt good at all. It was on a skooner and it was cramped and the food was lousy and expensive..If your looking for a nice place right on the beach and good food go to encinitas beach up north from san diego on the 101..Its called the Chart house...

I've been on one to see the Parade of Lights in Newport harbor. It was nice, but the band was so loud and close to the dance floor on the boat that you couldn't dance without going deaf. My wife and I had a better time just watching the boats and lights of the city.

I don't live there anymore...but..I use to go to the Mercedes room...at Mission beach...there is one that leaves behind them...it is really good...and the one down at the harbor.
It is long enough...it is great...I lived in San Diego for over 35 years.
