(I'm not marrying.) But, I'm interested in the issue. So, if anyone can shine some light on this, I'd appreciate it a lot.

Depends-
1. Most Judaistic Jews are "Non-practicing" & may or may not have a problem with this.
2. Orthodox & Hasidic Jews would NOT allow this
3. Messianic/Christian Jews would love it

In Jewish law, Jewish families would prefer their son or daughter to marry someone who is Jewish. They would not want them to marry outside of their own because they would be considered of going against Jewish law. I have heard of Jews marrying Christians and I know a couple that is still married. He is Jewish and she is Christian. He attends an Orthodox synagogue and she use to attend a Christian church, but now attends a Messianic synagogue. She believes in Jesus (Yeshua), but he doesn't. But, they are still married and with some problems in their marriage due to their religions.

Not all mixed marriages of Jews and Christians are like this. So, it does depend how they were brought up. There are many, many Jews who are not practicing Jews, same with Christians.

Anotherwards, to Jewish people, Jews marrying Christians don't mix. They marry Jewish people to have that Jewish upbringing and to study Torah, to bring up their children in a Jewish culture, not a Gentile world.

I believe they do.
Unless they are Jews for Jesus or
belong to Zion's fire type Organizations.
Which is a great magazine guys... look it up on the internet.

Jewish is not only a religion it's also a culture of people and some Jews (as Jesus was a Jew) believe in Jesus to be the Lord and savior. So it really would depend on that.

I am not Jewish either but have known many. Both Practicing and non practicing... The practicing Jews would have trouble with son or daughter marrying out of Judaism... for the more fundamental ones it would be as if the son or daughter were dead... they would even have a funeral like service for them...

I would say most Jewish families do have a problem with that.

The Christians have something to say about it.

the jews are still waiting for the messiah.

The messiah has come. Therefore they have nothing in common for marriage. We are no to be unevenly yoked.
