changing it myself instead of waiting for the computer to do it automatically?

If you have Vista or you have Automatic Updates configured on your computer (for XP, etc.), you have to do nothing. Otherwise, you are going to have to download the fix through whoever made your operating system.

Automatic updates can take care of it, except that it is not a critical download. So best to go to Microsoft update and once updates screen comes up, look at the optional ones and the fix is listed there.

Daylight savings time problem?


The computer will do it at the exact time it needs to be done. There is no need to do it manually.

Unless there is some daylight savings time problem that I haven't heard of...
