i wondered if anyone can tell me where i can get the nutertional facts for meat bought from a butcher. i know it is much better to buy it fresh from the butcher but i am supose to keep track of fat, soduim, chol, carbs and even patasuim. i asked the butcher but he does not have this info. i looked on line but can only find this info for meat bought in the meat dept. that is injected and marinated (much more sodium) right now i am trying to get the facts on a new york strip steak

Look up the Iowa State University Extension site, or the Iowa Beef site. Both have tons and tons of information.
