Why does being opposed to illegal immigration make me a racist (at least that's what liberals tell me)?

The liberal is a fool. Illegal immigration is a HUGE problem that no one faces. I live on the Mexican border and I see the amount of illegals that live here and cross on a regular basis. They do not want to do all the jobs that "we" don't want to do. They want your job and my job. They're not stupid and will work for what they want--which is to get ahead and lead a good life. I don't blame anyone for wanting that. I don't like that they work for companies or form their own and can underbid legitimate companies because they don't have to pay employer taxes or income tax. And I resent the people that live in Mexico and come over here to pick up their welfare checks and then go back to Mexico. And I resent having to pay for their children's education and medical care. I know there are desperately poor people in Mexico and it's hard to condemn those that fight to live a better life but they will suck us dry. And, by the way, it's a lot more than Mexicans coming over and the numbers are much more than estimated. We granted amnesty in the 80s to illegals. Enough. Laws are laws. If I break them, I go to jail. Why are these people given a court date and then set free to return on their own recognizance? You are not a racist because you want our laws enforced.

No, thats what "alienist" would have you to believe. Tell me, if I am opposed to people stealing other's identities, am I a racist? If I am opposed to people who refuse to learn English (therefore, leaving our schools to teach their children), am I a racist? If I am opposed to the rampant welfare fraud that occurs within the illegal immigrant "community," am I a racist? If I am opposed to people driving around town without drivers licenses and proper insurance (because they are not supposed to be able to get drivers licenses if they are hear illegally), am I a racist? If I am opposed to illegal immigrant women intentionally crossing the border to have their "anchor babies (which in fact happens all the time)," am I a racist? If I am opposed to illegal immigrants using emergency rooms as their clinics (costing hospitals untold billions of dollars, also closing many in the process), am I a racist? If I am opposed to having to be bilingual (basically speak Spanish) in order to get a job in the city that I currently live in (El Paso, TX) to "better serve the community," am I a racist? If I am always attacked because I love America and despise of anyone who takes advantage of the entitlements in which I gained because I was born here (and illegal immigrants were not), am I a racist? No I, nor you, or anybody else (except maybe some of those hate groups out there that hate all other groups not of their own) that oppose illegal immigration are racist, we are realists who realize that illegal immigration of any and all kinds is just flat-out wrong!

Its more that they ( the pro-illegal immigration ) are wrong and they know it. Its about our immigration laws, they feel that our laws, make it so that hardly anyone from Mexico can come here legally.

It's propaganda by fat cat, greedy CEO's addicted to cheap labor.

Most people cringe at the thought of being called racist that's why it's used as a form of "mind-control" or a "guilt-trip" to keep you in line.

PR agencies and ad agencies know how to play on your emotions. If they can't get you to sympathize with their cause, they use the tactic of making you feel humiliated to get you to go their way.
