I think everyone who said he walked out is right. You never said the door was locked. The info about the stuff in the room was to take your mind away from that fact.
I missed the additional details.
This means some other people are right too: the open ceiling, the unlocking the door with a piano key, and unlocking the door from the inside.
I had no idea, but I really think three of these four is right.
Happy 10 points somebody!

Just before the guard walked by he would saw a little bit off the legs of the piano and resume playing it so that the guard would walk by and look in to see who was playing the piano. well pretty soon it appeared he was shrinking/sinking next to the table. So the guard opens the door to rescue him, then get hit with the bat?

He sawed the table in half. He put the two halves together to make a whole, then climbed out through the hole.
Unlocked the door with a key from the piano.
Don't know about the bat.

He just walked out of the empty opening in the wall. It said hewas stuck in a metal room with a door. It did not say anything about the door being attached to the wall.

lol....very good questions but also makes me think about dozens of answers.
best answer i can come up with is that he put the saw in the crak of the door and the room then put the table right infront of the door then just pushed the piano back and fourth until the door broke loose!!!
let me know if i got it right

The man walked out the door, the door was never said wether it was open or closed, it just said it was locked, so assume the door was open and he walked out.
