I had medium to dark brown hair before I put in blonde highlights using revlon frost and glow. I liked them at first, but after putting them in again recently my hair now looks overwhelmingly blonde. I want to darken the highlights if possible. Can I just use a medium brown hair color on all my hair to darken it all?

That should work - the lighter areas will darken but still be lighter that the dark brown. My favorite product is "Loreal colour experte" the trick is to only put minimal highlights in only on the top layer, otherwise you get overall blonding

You don't want to put too many products in your hair because it can cause significant damage. Wait another few days and if it doesn't fade out enough, find a light shade of brown you like, then apply that dye to the highlights only. That way you won't damage the untouched hair either :)

darken the highlights with the exact color you want the highlights to be...you couldn't do this if you're going dark to light...but since you're going light to dark it'll work

YES YOU CAN BUT WHY NOT JUST ADD SOME CARAMEL STREAKS AND IT WILL MAKE THE REST LOOK BRIGHTER AND NOT SO LIGHT
