Brown hair, thick, keeps growing back. I don't want to use wax. I'm using Nair. Any other possibilities for a teen?

Hate to tell you this, but the best and cheapest way to get rid of eyebrow and lip hair is WAX. Anything other than laser hair removal (expensive) will just make the hair grow in faster and darker. Have you tried the Sally Hanson wax strips? They're cheap and relatively painless (and easy) to use.

My daughter was about 10 years old when she decided she didn't want her unibrow any more - she has been plucking. The hardest time is the first time when you have to get all the hairs out. Get your mom (sorry, don't know how old your are) to help so you don't over pluck. My daughter is now 13 and I can't even tell that she plucks anymore. I think after a while, the hair stops growing in those plucked areas. Good luck.

p.s. maybe you could ask for a gift cert. to a salon that does lasering

Hon. Tweezing all that will be more painful than using wax.
Don't be afraid to wax it. Maybe not now...but keep it in mind for the future. Waxing will help it to stop coming back as fast. Then you simply tweez the hairs that come back, to maintain the shape.
