You can try running the install program in Compatibility Mode. Here is a page on how to use Compatibility Mode:

WindowsNT and Windows9x are 2 different operating systems. NT was primarily developed as a business operating system. The problem from your games standpoint is likely that NT is formatted in NTFS files system, while Window9x uses FAT32 file system. The only way I know to run 9x is to uninstall WindowsNT and install Windows98

Windows 9x is a term for the Win95, Win98 and WinMe OSes that were intended for the general public.

WndowsNT is/was a product line developed originally from Win95 for use in office environments and includes WindowsNT, WindowsNT 4.0, and Windows2000. (It was bigger on security and other stuff.)

Windows XP was designed to combine the two product lines into one OS, with two different versions. (XP Home vs XP Professional.)

As far as getting that program to work, set it to WinMe, Win98 or Win95 compatability mode as previously mentioned.

The hunting game you bought is a very old game.

If you are running Windows XP, you can run the Program compatibility wizard that is in your Start -> All Programs -> Accessories menu on your start menu.

If you are not running XP, then you should just go buy a newer hunting game.
