WHy would you need one?? A responsable pet owner would not chain up their pit dog (or any dog)...unless you were encouraging your dog to be mean (chaining up a dog in the yard can create biting/attacking behaviors) THis is not to say "make the dog mean"...it makes the dog frustrated and unhappy and this manifests as biting and attacking.

That is ridiculous! A strong chain is no way needed for any dog, especially a Pit Bull. I have a pit and she is the sweetest, most beautiful dog. Maybe you should consider giving your dog to a Pit Bull rescue so that it can be loved, then chain yourself to a tree.. Dumb ***

WHy would your pitbull need a chain? Sure you could get one at a hardware store, but needing chains and choke collars are a sign of a bad owner, not a bad dog. Try getting the dog into training classes or give him up. No dog deserves to spend life at the end of a chain.

Why do your need a special chain? Chaining dogs is no way to treat one. Regular leashes work well with dogs who have been trained and treated properly.
