The best software I know of is call " Nero"
Very good software. Yes, you have to pay. When you pay, you don't get virsues and spywares, but once you go for the free ones, be prepared to ruin your computer operating system.
Windows Media player 10 and 11 can play DVDs... Go to Microsoft.com and download windows Media player 11.

Windows media player...it works and its simple to use. Its probably already on your computer
