The question asked which bible edition was used by scottish Christians not protestants. Roman Catholics use The Jerusalem Bible. The Episcopalians use the Standard Revision Version of KJV.Both of these denominations make up what you describe as the "scottish Church". Did you mean "The church of scotland" perhaps?

I had a bible from scotland and it was old english and very hard to understand. they use KJ now.

Yes they are conventional protestants (presbyterians) and use the KJV.
