Connections are all fine. I took the box back to comcast for a new one and now all the channels are scrambled. Something wierd going on here! Any thoughts?

Did they properly decode the box, because I doubt if it's NEW, just cleaned up from the last user. Mine had to be zapped from head office in Toronto. So, maybe it's something like that. Obviously, the tuner in the TV is not recognizing the Digital signal, just the HD . Mine is HD/Digital, so it will read both signals. Make sure you get them to come & see the problem themselves. That way, they can't leave until it works right & they can't blame you !!

you are able to watch an HD channel on a SD television once you've an HD receiver to obtain the HD channel and also you've the kit that has that channel. it will be of decrease high quality yet because you've a SD television, the photo could be effective. i wish this enables. I have a High Def TV and it occasionally does that. The owners manual indicates that sometimes it doesn't automatically switch back to the low def compatibilty mode. When that happens I just turn it off and back on. You might try unplugging theh power from the cable box for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.
