I use a program called Cryptainer LE. It's an "encrypted vault" that allows me store all my valuable files with a single password. The problem is that I've forgotten this password, and for my total security, the people that made Crytainer LE haven't included any password recovery system. I absolutely need to get that password.

I need to know if there's any password-crakin' system that's easy to use that I can download. I really need that password.

Here's a link to the page where you can dowload Cryptainer LE: http://www.cypherix.com/cryptainerle/

I have used cain before, if your looking for an easy to use program to crack a password, this is not going to be the software to use......Cain is geared more towards the computer savy, it does not have a very user friendly interface, "thats true for most free software"..... If this info is important to you, your going to need to purchase a software that is more geared to recovering a password, you may even be left with sending your pc to have a pro do this for you.....

Its good you are using encryted software, but I would recomend a password protection program.....
I use TK8 to store all my passwords, almost 100 of them, and I only need to remember 1 password, and that is to open TK8.
This program is also portable, you can keep backups of your passwords on a flash drive, and the whole program for that matter, so you can take it with you and use it on any pc!
If security is a priority for you, as it is with me, invest in a similar program....... You can download a free trial to see how it works......

Hope you have some luck, sorry I couldnt help more... :-(

Update: The SE version is what you need to purchase to recover a lost password from what I understand of the FAQ.
Here is the link to contact them about questions, like can the password recovery work on the le version that is already installed.....go to the link below and there is a "write" to us link that you can use to ask if purchasing the corporate SE version of this product will solve your problem.
