The mole is just an itty bitty one and is already partly off from when I shave. If I have to I'll cut it off with fingernail clippers, but I heard that it's dangerous to cut one off on your own. I don't really care if it scars since I don't think anyone will see a 3mm scar on my armpit..

So should I cut it off on my own or get a doctor? Or is there any other way of getting rid of a really bumpy mole without actually cutting it off? I would be fine with it if it wasn't so "tall"

Clean the area really well first, then tie a string around the mole really tight, right at the base where it attaches to the skin. In a few days it should fall off from lack of a blood supply. My doctor did this to a mole I had that I had also accidentally shaved partially off.

Dangit, that's so annoying, isn't it. I don't know if the chlorine has anything to do with it because I have this problem even in the winter. I've found that if I don't use the disposables and use a "real" razor, it helps. But gosh, I can hardly afford those blades!!

Removing it yourself could be very dangerous. I would see a doctor or just live with it.

i would just leave it alone. or go to the doctor, don't perform mini removal on your own, you never know if something can go wrong after

Dont remove it yourself. You should really have someone who knows what they are doing to remove it for you. You can cause yourself problems if you try to do it yourself.

I Suggest you DONT touch it..and just go to the doc to see if it can be removed. It's VERY DANGEROUS to remove it on your own..so definately GO to the Doc*

Even though it is small, I think you should see your doctor before you do anything.
