It is for my cousin who is much younger than me and I really do not know her extremely well. She is very smart and would probably enjoy a book but I don't know what kind. Also I will be unable to attend so it has to be something I can send.
If I give her money how much is acceptable?

Money is appropriate, or a jewelry box from like "things remembered saying something special or a necklace of the star of David? This is no more then $30.00 I know from my own experience I just went through this with my babysitter ( her Bat Mitzvah ) If you don't feel comfortable with that even a gift card to like Barnes and Noble maybe. I'm sure what ever you do she will appreciate form a older cousin.
