Let me add my two cents worth here.

I want to show that there is more than one way to be lazy.

Who says that God did everything? Do you mean MADE everything? Created everything? It's only lazy IF the person is trying to avoid thinking about something, or describing something. They are not being lazy IF they are describing what they believe.

I am frequently embarrassed by other Christians' answers. I feel a sense of dismay over the obvious lack of deeper learning that is evident by many of the responses. Most seem to want to just fire off whatever pops into their heads, streams of consciousness, etc., with no evidence of reasoned arguments, proper hermeneutics, and cogent synthesis of the issues. Some of the questions are often shallow or just asked for point-accumulation.

Unfortunately, many very good Christians have not spent enough time trying to learn and understand the theologies of the faith. Many also lack formal training in biblical hermeneutics, so they may misunderstand the full meanings of the texts they frequently quote.

Please do not misunderstand me as I am not advocating that everyone get degrees in theology, only that they spend some time studying materials outside the scriptures so that their faith will be solidly grounded.

Just keep asking questions in an objective manner and you will sometimes get useful responses. I try to answer questions so structured with a reasoned theological and philosophical response.

Personally, no. But I do think God expects us to discover how he created things, and I find it lazy if people don't want to do so. He used the laws of nature, and I think he wants us to learn those, too. God does not want a stupid people.

No, but mostly because I know of no people PERSONALLY that actually say God did everything. I have run on to a few online, but really not a majority in anyway.

I find people with closed minds to be intellectually lazy...they come from all kinds of beliefs and non-beliefs.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

No because god does everything. You see it after a football game when the winner says god helped them win. And on the Grammy Awards when people thank god for helping them win. God does everything and he does more for people who pray harder. Especially before a football game.

It depends on the context. Similarly, Gould used to chide Dawkins for being dogmatic for believing natural selection is the "only" means of evolution. In this way, Dawkins is pretty lazy.

Did God tell you to ask that question, man you're so lazy you can't even come up with your own questions can you?

God gave me this answer, i'm lazy too.

Not really - it takes a far more creative mental effort to attribute the mysteries of the earth to an all-powerful being than it does to uncritically accept current scientific evolutionary theory

Yes, just as lazy as accepting that God isn't real without investigating the claims.... you'd be surprised where you'd end up.
