In response to Expat's post above...

Whilst the fastest way to petition so as can apply for a visa is the fiance visa. It is not the fastest to a green card.

MMN,
The fastest way to a greencard is through marriage to a US Citizen. It should however be done legally. Having a child does not grant citizenship on the mother. The mother has to be in the US legally and must make the appropriate applications, just like everyone else.

No. The baby is a U.S. citizen but the parent is still deportable. When the child reaches the age of 21 they could petition their parents for permanent residency.

Quickest way to get a greencard, not employment based, is to enter as a fiance with the appropriate visa. Then submit all the paperwork with all the evidence and the correct fee the first time you do it, and do it at the first opportunity (like before leaving on your honeymoon!)

The fastest way to get a Green Card is to have a boyfriend/girlfriend in the US file Form I-129 "Petition for Alien Fiance" so you can come to the US and get married. The application usually takes about 6-9 months to be approved and you must marry your American fiance within 90 days of your arrival in the US. Ironically, this petition is approved faster than if you are already married.

Not true. your baby can stay but not you. You must get an immigration lawyer and file the necessary papers to get alien resident status. that is the quickest legal way.

your information is wrong.
if a illegal aliens drop a kid out on USA soil the kid is an Automatic citizen. it don't guarantee you can stay. when the kid reach 21 years old he can apply for a green card for it's parents and siblings.
