what do u do when u have hurt your father not phyically but mently and he holds that against you but still lets you stay with him and still shows you how much he cares for you . We sometimes argue about what i did and im sorry i cannot tell yall what i did i will just say it was bad and wrong. but anyways when he brings it up and yells at you and you tell him no matter what if you could go back and do things diffrently then you would but you cant so you ask for his forgiveness but he tells you he will neva forget and he will no longer trust you. I love my father with all of my heart and i want to do something for him to show him that i am not only sorry but i love and care very much. but i dunno what to do , what yall think?

I would tell him that your human and you make mistakes that are life lessons and not meant to be life sentences. Tell him you feel as if you are on a life sentence when he treats you the way he does. Tell him it was an honest mistake and ask what can you do to earn his trust again.

I dont know what I would say, becuase my father was never around to support me!!!! But if i ever got into an arguement with my dad and said something mean that he brings up every time we argue, I would just apologies for what i said, and tell him that I just mad that I did not really mean what i said!!!! i mean besides nobody is perfect, and some people say things that they dont mean!!!!
