If Heaven was made for humans why did God create a Earth, A sun to warm it, an ecosystem for life to grow on it, an atmosphere to protect it?

The genesis account talks of the first human pair in a paradise but once ejected they found the world around them barren and Inhospitable making it difficult to raise crops.

They were told to multiply and make the Earth an Eden (but never happen because of breaking God's law).

Jesus restored that promised of a paradise for those that follow his commandments and will be allowed to enter into his kingdom which is in heaven (144,000 will rule with Jesus, Rev 7:4-8) and on the EARTH (the great crowd, Rev 7:9) from every nation and tribe. Matt 6:10

Luke 23 - "And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."

All whom Jehovah chooses, righteous and the unrighteous have a wonderful hope of living God's new world and under his glorious kindgom rule , with Christ as king.

Acts 24:15 "and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."

Psalms 37:9-11,29
"9For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.

10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.

11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it.

Rev. 21:3 "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away"

The 144.000 [ Rev. 7;4 & 14;1 ] are chosen by God. And have been chosen from the whole population of the earth. Not jus the Jewish Nation.
All J.W's claim is that these ones would have fully obeyed ALL Jesus' commands. And especially Matthew 28; 19,20
What other religious group is doing this?
As to the future of "everyone else", their future is described at Psalms 37; 9,11,29,34.

The majority of Jehovah's Witnesses hope to live forever in paradise on earth.

Matthew 5:5 and Psalm 37:9-11, 29 have a bearing on this, but you can read further about this at the links below:

The rest will be meeting up with all those of all religions who will be a part of the 2nd resurrection, depending on what God finds in their heart, to work together in rebuilding Earth back into a paradise, and than head out into the Universe to explore and terraform other planets. Possibly, with just the power of our minds.

Dear Black,

More than 30 years ago I allowed a relative to do "Bible" studies with me because I was very lonely and didn't have transportation. It was the only way she would come to visit me.

I still remember her telling me that Watchtower Witnesses born by 1935 were in the 144,000. All of the rest would live on paradise earth which would be restored. She assured me that several of our relatives would be going to heaven because they met all of the qualifications.

It is rather strange because when I talk to those family members now they tell me they are NOT going to be in heaven but are really looking forward to life on restored "paradise earth". It sure seems like false humility to me.

So I know there has been a shift in who goes where but I know that they do not talk of hell. Jesus does in His Word but Watchtower Witnesses do not.

There is no "list". There is about 6 million of us now. God created the earth to be lived on forever. That's where I hope to be. Only 144,000 has the hope of heavenly life. The rest of us hope to live forever on a paradise earth.
