Don't eat a heavy meal for at least an hour before working out. just something light like a banana to keep your energy up. Or you can make a smoothie, using a yogurt, banana, strawberries to get you going. And always drink lots of water!

bannanas could make it worse, My dr told me to eat them and it made it worse, I was waking up in the mmiddle of the night with leg cramps.
I have the same problem with cramps in my side if i do alot of walking or anything. No one has been able to find out whats wrong so i just deal with it.
I have found that stoping for a bit makes it stop but it comes back after a wile, But if you keep going and try to ignore it it will stop and not come back untill you do it agin. over time if you keep with it the cramps should be less and less and then sooner or later you wont get them very often. I have gone over 2 years with out one.

You may be eating a little too soon before heavy exercise. Try eating something 30-40 minutes before you exercise.

Thats just mean u are out of shape.. work on ur endurance more- whether through jogging or running and what not. Also it would help too, if u practice breathing properly, or perhaps more.

maybe you are simply overdoing it. If your body is in pain, then it's telling you something is wrong.
