With the "Sons of God" spoken about in the Bible and probably by incest.
EVEN if you subscribe to SCIENCE you came from HERMAPHRODITES (people who have sex with themselves).
Amobeas reporduce by CELL DIVISION from ONE SET OF GENES
Humans JOIN GENES and then CELL DEIVISION makes the rest.
One set of genese started it all by SCIENCE
Two sets of genes started it all by RELIGION
YOu choose!
Are you the by-product of ONE set of genes or TWO sets of GENES
and IF THE SONS OF GOD were involved there are then MULTIPLE sets of genes (we don't know HOW MANY SONS there were).
YES there probably was some -- what we know as -- INCEST propegation. In both SCIENCE and RELIGION this MUST have occured TO A DEGREE
The thing is, eventually the INCEST gets clouded by generation gaps.
It is not NEARLY as wrong for a man in his 70s to make babies with his GREAT GREAT GRANDAUGHTER or seopcnd COUSIN as it is to make babies with his DAUGHTER.
This could be why we have birth defects.
Why we have Tysachs
RH factors
Downs syndrome
GOD left us alone to see what we'd do on our own.
YOu see, we LEFT God's path when we ate the apple.
After that point, God had NO NEED TO CARE
But God is still around, that's an important point
For GOD had NO NEED to care after we ate the apple
He could have said
Go F yourself and left
He didn't
He stayed around a bit and helped us
He didn't have to

I am guessing they had more than 2 children because they were commanded by God to multiply and fill the earth. Actually three of the sons are mentioned in the bible; this was Able, Seth and Cain. Seth was born after Abel was killed. Most likely Cain, Able and Seth were married to their sisters, at the the time this was ok as they had to procreate but now this is no longer a reason to procreate with ones sister because there is suffiecient diversity in the gene pool!

The Elohim (plural) created men on the seixth day of creation and gave them dominion over the earth. Yahweh created Adam and Eve after the day of rest and the Garden mess ensued. After murdering Abel, Cain was sent out to wander, he found the Other Peple who took him in and where he found a wife.

They had a lot more kids then 2. They did have daughters and more sons. The only ones you ever hear about are either the ones that were really good, or the really bad. Think about it, they lived over a hundred years. So, technically they could have had dozens of kids.

After Cain was exiled by God, Adam and Eve had more kids, the Bible does say that. Read more of the Bible after that part of Genesis 4 and you will understand this.

adam and eve had more children than that. it also talks about a 3rd son Seth.
furthermore they lived over 600 yrs old. they didnt just have 3 children. but the question was, were they important enough to talk about and document?
there was another creation of humans too. cain was banished, but he went to another town to live where he got a wife.

We multiplied by sexual reproduction, involving chromosomes from a male and female.
The religious story has nothing to do with the answer. For instance, "If the farmer has 3 cows, 2 wives and 1 dog, how many moons does Earth have?" Religious fairy tales have nothing to do with reality.

Obiously at the beginning of the human race incestuous relationships were the genesis of procreation. As nature fell from the entry of sin in the world, the genetics of incest became more and more problematic. Eventually, incest became anathema, especially as population increased.

According to Genesis chapter 5, they also had a son named Seth after Abel's death and "many other sons and daughters".
