Many times when posting something, when refering to Mohamed, you also put (pbuh). What does that mean? I see it often & have no idea of what it means & I am sure many others dont either. Could you explain, please?

It means "peace be upon him" and some mean it as "peace and blessings be upon him." Muslims say that when referring to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and sometimes to other Prophets, like Christ Jesus (pbuh).

EDIT: Muslims speaking say/type this. In Arabic, there is another acronym, but since I don't know Arabic, I can't tell you what it is.

Thank you for asking. : ^ )

pbuh stands for Peace Be Upon Him.

The Arabic term is Salallahu Alayhi Wa-salaam, so you may also see SAW after his name.

We use this term in reference to any of the Prophets (Musa, Abraham, Jesus, Muhammad, etc. [pbut]) out of respect for their lives.

As-salaamu alaykum - Peace be upon you

We say it because prophets of God deserve our Respect- when we refer to them we can not refer to them like they are our cousins or just another guy walking down the street- so it is in respect that we speak of them. You can also say things like - may God be pleased with him, or may the blessings of God be upon him, etc...

infedel -whtever!
pbuh as u already knw stands 4 'peace be upon him' we say this 4 all the prophets
basically when ne muslim hears or says muhammed(saw)'s name den he/she shud actually say 'sallalahu alihi was salam' coz u den get reward 4 sending 'darood' i.e blessings upon him.

They're praising a guy who mated with a 9 year old girl.

DENY IT ALL OF YOU, DENY IT!

It's IN the BOOKS... Is Aisha telling the TRUTH or a LIE. She also said he was a nice guy, maybe that's not true either!
