I ´m going throught a long distance relatioship and have been reading a lot about it in the web. I would like to know which could be the best way of communicating? I found some interesting articles about new technologies here: loveandculture.net.
What do you think? Is it better for you to use telephone, chat, letters, camera, skype? I need advice.

Is he in Iraq? Yahoo IM is great if you set it up with webcam and phone is the best.

I had a long distance boyfriend for about 1 1/2 years. We would talk on AIM or Yahoo Messager. Or you could just tell him where to meet you in a chat room. We did that too. If you want to talk on the phone buy some phone cards. We used to get those for each other so we wouldnt spend any $$ on phone calls.

I met my current husband in a chat room online. At first, we only met in the chatroom and private messaged alot. That led to emails, then telephone calls. We finally met in person and that was over 8 years ago, things are going very well! If you don't have access to a webcam, make sure to send him letters with your picture in them... and good luck!

Thank goodness for emails and instant messaging. An occasional phone call is good, and it's nice to send a good foto to remind him what he's missing. I think it would be fun to send a good video made with friends, just having fun, and you the center of attraction. A sweet card now and then...a little of all the above.

chatting online with a webcam, texting, phone, emails...if you can think of it, do it. the most important thing is to keep talking...I used to be in a long distance relationship and we ended up breaking for one simple reason, we stopped trying to communicate to each other....
