i had my haircut pretty short about six months ago and now im trying to let it grow out. i cant find a good way to style it and its really getting on my nerves. a good website would be very helpful. i dont want a new style i just want to know HOW to style it.

Oh honey...I feel for you.
I had very, very short hair for 7 years. It took me almost 2 to grow it back...and that was only to shoulder length!
I found that putting scarfs or bandannas in it worked. Some hats can work too.
As for styles. Do you have long enough bangs to lay them flat? If so, put a headband on and smooth the front part of your hair and mess up the back or if it's still short enough...spike it a bit.
I do like that messy thing once in a while too. Try parting your front different ways just to make some changes.
Play with highlights. Sometimes they will texturize your hair and it will look like there's more there.
Smooth it all out and flatten it as best you can. The pixie can be cute sometimes as well.
You have to be confident and fearless, or else you'll freak like I did...I couldn't take it and cut it short twice before I finally worked up the courage to go through with it.
Oh and I almost forgot. Don't forget about barrettes or clips. These can help get the hair out of your face when it gets that long. The back, by the neck and bangs will grow so much faster than your crown.
Tip: Remember to keep trimming the hair at the nape of your neck. It is never a good look to have a mullet!

The "messed up" harstyle is in. after washing it put some mousse and a little spritz and mess it up by crunching it everywhere except for around your face make it straight around your face.
