That's a tough one as I don't think you can actually Ever , totally erase someone completely from your mind or your life. Your question sounds a tad like you've been quite hurt either by a partner or someone very close in your life?(family member..best friend, boyfriend or someone very dear has passed away ......You need to start a new life..meeting new ppl, going out and enjoying life* Living life , then with time..you will think less of that person...but there will always be things that trigger your memory* Time will heal you to a certain extent. If you're finding it so difficult, consult a counsellor through your doctor....and try to get past this or it will affect your life forever. You will always be filled with these "bad memories" and it will end up making you sick, alone and more depressed which I know is not a place you want to be.
You Will get through this ordeal...you just need a lil help*to put you on the right path* So seek counselling and stay strong*

But sorry to say..you will never be able to completely erase someone from your life, unless you perhaps look into being hypnotized. Not sure how that works and would rather not speculate.
All the best to you and keep your chin up* You are a special /caring person...and life will turn around soon enough for you, for the better* Keep on Smlin* Keep the Faith*

time, prey and focus.
It is not easy to remove someone from ones past; even harder when it was someone that you loved. But it can happen. Just so ya know if when you get to the point that you don't think of them everyday there will still be times that they cross your mind but it would affect you the same way.
Spend the time that you normally would spend with them on something else. Fill the space.

Ouch, yeah that's a tough one there. There is an old saying, "time heals all"...over time if you can focus your energies on other people and other things in your life that make you happy, then that wound heals up as good as it can. I think sometimes it leaves scar tissue and a song, or a dream will bring back that feeling and reopen a wound for a bit, but then you breathe in and breathe out and you go on. best of luck.

Unless you have a Neuralizer (MIB) or know "The Haitian" or develop Alzheimer's then you can't COMPLETELY erase someone.

although according to http://www.whatsnextnetwork.com/technology/index.php/2006/08/28/p3291 "Downstate researchers describe erasing memory from the brain by targeting a molecular mechanism that controls memory"

However i doubt you can ask them to erase your memory for you.

Time. Time is really the only answer for a question like this. Keep yourself preoccupied and eventually that person will fade into the past. Good luck.

You don't, all experiences in life teach us something all you need to do is desensitise the memory's so that they are no longer emotionally pain full.
Then you can use your memory's to learn from or to help others

Involve yourself in activities that have nothing to do with your past mate/friend.

If you are involved in something that takes up a lot of your soul, you will not only find yourself healed, but you will be doing the world around you good as well!

God Bless asshole,

Kermit

Believe it or not, the answer is to wallow in your grief. You have only so much pain, and when you use it up, your bad memories will be like something you read about in the newspaper.

You will never forget the memory, but you can lose the emotional attachment. I think it was Viktor Frankl who said- the power that we all have that no one can take away from us - is our ability to choose our response to any given situation.
