The Bible says:
"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money."
-Matthew 6:24
I have no hate of God, but I have no love of God. I do not really even know if God is or isn't. I don't really care if he is or isn't.
Pretty meaningless to me. I guess it is kind of a grey area.
The Bible, claiming it is impossible to serve 2 masters, saying either I will love the one & hate the other or hate the one and love the other, doesn't seem to support this view.
Seems God is saying it is impossible to have anything except either love or hate towards him.
I have no feelings at all about God though, love or hate. What happens, happens. Life is life. As though I am an emotionless void, zombie, android.
What gives, why is the Bible lying like this?
I surely know how I feel, & it IS possible not to love or hate God. Cause I do not feel either towards him.
Why does it lie?

Right, according to that, if you don't love god, you must hate god. It's extremes like that which cause a person to choose a side. If you weren't strong in your ambivalence, you'd be swayed to one side or the other. But why it's there...simple answer is to control people.

The Bible was written by men, who were called by God to help write it and translate it to share with the world. Don't you think that it is impossible for everyone to have an original copy of the ancient manuscripts that were found? If it was possible many people wouldn't be able to understand it. That is why God called hundreds of men to help write and translate the Bible. The men that were called really loved God, and took the writings seriously. Every time when they would write the word God they would use a new pen. I know of this because I went to Seminary College and took up Bible Analysis, which teaches how the Bible came about. Men died trying to smuggle the Bible into the United States from England. They were burned at the stake if they were caught smuggling Bibles because their King forbid it.
The Dead Sea Scrolls that were found stands as proof of the Old Testament. Many or those that are studying the Scrolls are not religious and satin uses it as an opportunity for them to lie and say that the Scrolls disprove the Bible. If you are seeking and really want to know if the Scrolls disprove the Bible you should pray for an answer from God.
All I know is that God and the Bible are real the Bible is a living book, that for tells our history, and future. There are Revelations in the Bible that have and are coming true. Just pick up your Bible turn it to revelations and you will see that we are living in the last days. More and more people are turning away for God and are trying to disprove the Bible as being the final authority. This is also mentioned in Revelations as follows:
Revelations 24: 4-14
4Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ, [a]' and will deceive many. 6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of birth pains.
9"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

The problem is that the Bible has a lot of wisdom in it. It is in some ways more true than if it actually was true. Can wise sayings, parables and fairy tales be true. I think they can be in the sense of being for teaching. Is the Bible literally true. I think only the Laws in it are accurate records of ancient laws. IO think I messes up the genealogy and it certainly is not an accurate history text. Job, Genesis and most of the rest of the Book are definite fables and mythologies.
Lying? I am not sure. As a truism the not serving two masters because of loyalty conflicts makes sense. Is it about God? I don't think it is.
Because I don't believe God is real anyway.

certainly, you would be able to desire to alter your wording purely somewhat: Hebrew Bible Roman Catholic Bible Protestant Bible The Jewish scholars finished the version of the Hebrew Bible in with regard to the 0.33 century. That textual content cloth is roofed in the two the RC and Prot. Bible. The order of the books is diverse, simply by fact of underlying assumptions. The Christian Bible (the hot testomony) wasn't extremely nailed down until almost the 10th century or so. After that, it replaced into locked in. This replaced into carried out in a sequence of Church Councils. this text is an identical in the two the RC and Prot. Bible, and the previous testomony is tremendously plenty an identical in the two of those Bibles, different than that the order could be slightly diverse. the only distinction between the RC and Prot. Bibles is the presence of the Apocrypha -- quite a few books that have been unknown in Hebrew, yet have been lined robotically in Greek language translations of the previous testomony that have been in properly-known use around the time of the early Church. That Greek translation of the previous testomony (called the Septuagint) replaced into so properly-known (maximum Jews did not at that element undergo in concepts the thank you to speak or study Hebrew anymore) that whenever you hit upon the previous testomony quoted interior the hot testomony, it somewhat is continuously the Septuagint textual content cloth they are quoting.

Mathew 6:24 makes lot of sense. Let's say you are after money and all your thoughts are energy is channeled towards it. When do you think you can serve God? On weekends when you have time?
How would your boss feel when you only show up to work on weekends?
You have to have a good balance. Another words, put Gods things first before anything else.

Well, dont u think that in the world of Biblical religion that the simple fact that u are questioning it shows which master u serve. U have the use the scripture in the context it was written. This scripture was speaking of ANY master u have, whether God, money, lust, etc. I don't believe the Bible lies but I also think u need to put the scriptures in the "context" in which it was written!...
Peace

My belief: The Bible is whatever you make it out to be. For me, it's a series of stories (yes, I said it, but hear me out) that dictate how we should live our lives. Jesus may or may not have been a real person. I choose to believe that he was real, as he has had the biggest impact on culture ever.
However, since there are 4 contradictory versions of Jesus' life, it is only plausible to take the Bible as a work of fiction based on real events. Though not all of the things happened, some of them probably did.

Haha. I know you are joking because if you are serious you will probably go to hell!
Seriously, ask your pastor. Mine taught me how I could love and serve God by loving and serving in the church. My pastor and many members of our congregation get together often to reinforce our love for the Almighty. Try it before you go off and say things you don't mean. Even though I know you're joking, God might not think its funny.
Jesus loves you. I pray for you now.

That's very strange; are you saying because you feel no love or hate for God, then the Bible is a liar?
You seemed very confused my son.
If you truly seek for truth, don't worry...truth will find you. If you harden your heart against truth, there's nothing any one can do to convince you of truth.

This is not a lie. It is what God sees in your heart. Your mind says that you can care less one way or the other. Your heart says that you hate all things "God".
Jeremiah 17:9
[God proclaimed], “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it?"
