I would suggest exercise with diet changes. I don't know if you do all these or not... basics: 1) No fast food 2) Drink water or a herbal tea, no soft drinks 3) Whole grains not enriched bread 4) Eat fruits and vegetables. Exercises to do: Push ups, leg lifts, hold a Plank position and relax, repeat; take your 3 year old with you and skip... skip for height and then distance, jump with your little one, jump over any line back and forth, jump rope, take your child for a walk (maybe even hold him/her switching arms as you go), lift the little one (have fun!). Grab a can or a milk jug or a detergent container (fill with water if necessary) and do curls, triceps extensions, military press, hold your arm straight (and at your side) raise the item straight even with your shoulder and out. Repeat but do it to the side. Alternate arms... increase weight as needed. Squat ... literally, act as if you are sitting in a chair then stand back up. No weight is needed at first and make sure your knee never goes over your toes. Increase the reps and hold a can for weight later. If you are really strong, try this one-legged. Get on the steps and do a calf raise (lift up with your foot), once you are strong enough, do it one legged. Remember to mix it up, don't do the same exercises (except walking) two days in a row.
Best of luck to you.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

I just started an at-home routine that consists of jumping jacks (2 minutes on, 1 minute rest), crunches, and then I strengthen my arms with some 10-lb weights I bought at the sporting goods store. You can do the whole thing in front of the TV, and it only takes about 15 minutes.

Fill wirth water.
Pick each container up off the ground and placing it on a shelf.
Follow the same routine, this time at a different level of shelf.
Repeat for 20 minutes.

The very best exercise you can do is WALK, and if you get tired of that put on your favorite music that makes you want to move and just go to town in your house or whereever dancing acting like a fool, you would be amazed at how much fun it is and will make you very healthy.....also bike riding is great too...but, my fav is dancing acting like a kid.

I would recommend walking. It is a great way to start. I try to take a walk once a day. I have a 3 year old too and she often rides her bike or walks with me.
