I heard of a desert dump for aircrafts in the US ... could I get the cheapest private jets there ... even if it means buying new jet engines...?

It's almost never worth it to buy cheap since there will be a price to pay later. Increased maintenance cost is one example. Here is a link to all costs associated with a purchase of a Gulfstream IV: https://www.jets.com/Jets_ResearchJetsListing.aspx?AircraftName=Gulfstream%20G400

They are going for between $21mm and $33mm now.

The cheapest one on the market currently is listed at an asking price of $14,350,000. They do range from the mid teens into the upper 20's, but right now that is the lowest price one out there. You can buy one for that, and redo the engines, paint and interior, but it usually not economical.

Lots of airplanes there - B 52's, migs, f86, lots of oddball stuff I'd like to have. I think it's worth the trip and may go back soon. It's in the desert near Yuma AZ - I don't need to own one the cost of maintenance is too high but I do like to look, touch and take pictures. Nearby is the place where they have TopGun target training - fun to watch.

The G IV is too much aircraft to worry about "cheap". Buy one that is in full certification, not some maintenance hog. And if you are serious, I would recommend the G IV SP as opposed to the straight IV.
