Its not an emergency, but go soon. You're only prolonging your pain. None of us can say what to ask for, we don't know your age, other conditions, history or anything. Sore bones and joints could be range of different things. You shouldn't have to ask for certain tests, the doc should know which ones. Expect to get a blood test though, he'll probably check your sed rate. Don't take any anti-inflammatories for 24hrs before you go, incase the dr decides to a blood or diagnostic test.

You should not wait any longer. If you have insurance, you should be there at the first sign of anything, sickness or pain. You want to catch it early in case it is something serious. I don't know how old you are or what gender, but I am a 23 year old f and just got diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I have pains all over my body. I would mention that, and maybe ask them to do some xrays to make sure your bones are growing normally; Good luck to you!

I think you should see one now. Just describe your symptoms as best you can, answer all his/her questions, and let them decide what tests to run, if any.

I know going to see a doc is intimidating, but you'll feel better when you know you're okay!

You should have gone a couple of months ago when this first started.

Why have you waited so long in the first place?
